Mod. 11.1 - Community Change Project Defense

Your assignment is to create a 5-8 minute video reflecting on your Community Change project. Your video must do two things:

1. Clearly describe how your project meets the MCAD criteria: the progressive value you explored, the collective leadership skill you practiced, and the community with whom you worked to make change.

2. Reflect on what you learned and what made this project "small but scary" for you as an evolving leader.

While you can use whatever format and structure you deem best, here's a suggested template for your video:

• 1-2 minutes on what you did, with whom, and the result.

• 1 minute on why you chose this project and how it fits the MCAD criteria.

• 2-3 minutes on what you learned from it about yourself, your leadership skills, and your own personal goals as a leader.

• 1-2 minutes on what questions this is now sparking for you (and any questions you'd especially like to discuss with the committee).

Your video can be just you speaking, or you speaking over slides, or both. I do recommend including a couple of pieces of visual documentation (pictures, screenshots, etc.) to help bring your project to life.
